Adults

We are excited to offer Small Groups at 9:30 on Sunday Mornings. If you are looking for community with other growing adults, this is the best place to start. We have groups designed for all stages of life. From college age to senior adults, we have a group for you.

We know it may take trying a few different groups in order to find your place, so we encourage everyone to try multiple groups until you find your fit.

We offer ways for your faith journey to be formed and nourished. As adults, our primary goal as we mature in our faith is to become more like Christ. We do that through regular Bible Study, prayer, participation in biblical ordinances, and personal time with the Lord. Here are some ways we help to strengthen those areas:

• Spiritual Formation Journal

We create 90-day journals that align with the messages here at New Providence. These are full of daily scripture readings, journaling pages, thought-provoking questions, and daily gratitudes. We offer them to anyone who walks through the doors at no cost.

• Weekly Bible Study

We have regular, on-going Bible studies each week taught by our pastor that take us through the whole of Scripture. The goal of this Bible study is to gain a deeper understanding of the full picture of scripture. We also pray for one another and encourage one another during this time each week. • BASICS Class

Throughout the year we offer the BASICS Class. This class is designed to help train you in the core spiritual disciplines found in the scriptures. We train you in how to read the Bible, pray, fast, give, and fellowship with one another. Our goal is that we would “no longer be little children…let us grow in every way into Him who is the head - Christ.” - Ephesians 4:14-15

Men’s ministry is centered around the study and application of God’s Word. We gather weekly and go through Bible Studies, hold one another accountable, and serve the Lord together through hands-on projects in our community.

We want our men to be great husbands, fathers, brothers, workers, and leaders in our community.

Women’s ministry is designed to help women of all ages grow in their relationship with the Lord. Centered around God’s Word, we study, pray, encourage, and fellowship with one another to build each other up into all God would have us to be.
